Biography:
My name is Rebecca Corrigan, and I started my career as a teacher in 1985 at Plano Senior High School, where I taught English III for several years. After taking some time off to raise my daughters, I realized that I wanted to teach younger children. I was hired to teach at Skaggs in 2010, and I am so proud to be a part of this wonderful community.
I have two daughters who graduated from Plano West, went off in separate directions to college, and somehow ended up living in Brooklyn, New York. Between the two of them, I have three grandsons under the age of three.
Away from school, I enjoy Book Club, baking, puzzles, spending time with my sweet, stubborn little dog, and traveling to New York every chance I get.
I am truly grateful to teach at a school surrounded by such an incredible staff, supportive parents, and students who are genuinely eager to learn.

Biography:
Hello! My name is Sharmeen Rahman, and I have been a proud teacher of Plano ISD, since 2014.
My love for teaching began ever since I was a child, as there was always something for me to learn and share with those around me. I truly value education, curiousity, and the sharing of information/ ideas to be applied to valuable sets of skills, that lead to a more innovative world.
Before graduating with a Bachelors of Sciences in Education at the University of North Texas, I initially completed my student teaching at Skaggs Elementary before I was hired at another school within Plano ISD-Harrington Elementary. That is where I taught 3 years in 4th grade, 3 years in 5th, and 1 year in 3rd.
I then came back to Skaggs Elementary, and was hired onto the 4th grade team in 2022-present. I am currently teaching 4th grade Science and Social Studies!
