Biography:
I am so excited to be teaching Kindergarten at Skaggs Elementary! I have taught kindergarten and 1st grade since 2015. I graduated from Louisiana State University (LSU) with a bachelor's in early childhood development. I love to be creative and explore to continue learning with our students!
I grew up in Plano and I love that I am able to be a teacher in a district that made me love learning! I love to travel, read, watch movies and hang out with friends and family.

Biography:
Hi there! My name is Ashley Murillo, and I’m so excited to be a part of the Skaggs family! I earned my degree from West Texas A&M University in 2023. In the classroom, I believe in fostering both academic and social-emotional development equally to help students become confident, kind, and ready to learn!
I look forward to building relationships and cheering students on both inside and outside of school. I vividly remember how special it felt when my teachers showed up to my soccer games, and I hope to do the same for my students. When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our dog, trying new recipes with my family, and traveling to new countries with our friends.
I’m so grateful to be part of your child’s academic journey and can’t wait to watch them learn and grow!
